A documentary on RM (Kim Namjoon), leader of the K-pop boy band BTS, while he was working on his second solo album is slated for release in December in 90 countries.
RM on Oct. 30 uploaded the poster for "RM: Right People, Wrong Place," which was directed by Lee Seok-jun, on his social media accounts to announce the film's forthcoming release.
The documentary chronicles the eight months RM spent on his second album "Right Place, Wrong Person" and interviews with him over that period. It contains his thoughts as the BTS leader, a solo artist and a person.
Focusing on RM's exploration of his inner self, the film is slated for official release on Dec. 5 in 90 countries including Korea.
It was the first documentary on K-pop to be officially invited to the Open Cinema section of the Busan International Film Festival earlier this month.
RM is gaining recognition for his artistry and creativity as shown in content such as this film and music videos.
This year, he earned two UK Music Video Awards for "Lost," the title track from his second album, as well as honors from the Berlin Commercial Awards and Ciclope Festival of Germany.
